The next step to net zero
In our responsible approach towards sustainability and environmental stewardship, we’re proud to announce our latest initiative: the switch to Ecotricity as our energy supplier. Ecotricity has been at the forefront of providing 100% renewable electricity since 1995, utilising offshore wind, onshore wind, solar and hydro-electric power. We believe this move will be a pivotal contributor to our broader sustainability goals and will help us achieve net zero emissions by 2030.
By partnering with Ecotricity, we ensure that every piece of furniture we design and manufacture is produced using energy from renewable sources. This not only reduces our dependence on fossil fuels but also sets a new standard for sustainability within the furniture manufacturing industry. Our clients can take pride in knowing that their chosen pieces are crafted not only with superior quality and design in mind but also with the utmost consideration for the environment.
The switch to Ecotricity will remove 30 tonnes of CO2e from our annual carbon footprint which is equivalent to the total emissions of 5 UK residents.
Transitioning to Ecotricity is the latest commitment to our sustainable manufacture philosophy, a suite of initiatives which have been implemented across our business in order to reduce our carbon footprint.
Analysed and verified by an independent consultant, Environmental Scorecards are available for many of our collections, including data on modular elements, making it quick and easy to access reliable data, even for unique modular designs.
