A Festival for CDW19
Throwing open our doors to celebrate
In celebration of 40 years of designing and manufacturing contemporary, high quality products for workplace interiors, our showroom in Brewhouse Yard steps into Clerkenwell Design Week with a festival full of new products and special events.
Throughout the refurbished showroom we’ll be presenting new products for 2019 alongside the inaugural presentation of Chime and Eevie. With a gentle eye towards the morphing design trend between workplace, residential and hospitality our product designers have been working hard with a focus on adaptive, organic seating. Chime; an informal modular collection for reception and break out zones whose soft, organic forms we hope will charm visitors will be previewed alongside the launch of Eevie; a chic, boutique style chair offering flexible elements which designers can customise to meet their exact requirements.
Inspired by global trends in hospitality design Eevie introduces boutique hotel chic into the workplace and we’ll be presenting it for you to see at our showroom. Compact yet comfortable, the Eevie collection includes a sofa, armchair and coffee table perfect for breakout or reception areas within the most contemporary of reception spaces.
Creating individual pieces becomes even easier with the optional fixed buttoned “slab” cushion, giving both the chair and sofa an alternative look whilst adding extra softness to an already comfortable design. The accompanying coffee tables are available with a choice of square or turned tapered timber legs in Natural Beech, Black Stained or Natural Oak.
Taking inspiration from the successful, free-form Bloid seating, we’re going to be previewing the new range, Chime during Clerkenwell Design Week and are really looking forward to feedback from you. Soft, organic forms of the generously sized sofa elements are designed to be placed in clusters to form intimate and luxurious collectives for reception and breakout areas making it possible to create extensive seating arrangements with enticing gaps and viewpoints. We’re really excited to share this with you and invite you to give us feedback during Clerkenwell Design Week.
Soft foam fillings feature across the range while curved encircling backs provide a welcoming support. Chaise end sections add a touch of indulgence to work spaces and a choice of black glides or steel hairpin legs offers two differing looks to suit any environment. As usual, our wide range of fabric possibilities, together with the option for customisation, allows for a multitude of styles in a wide variety of colours and patterns.
Designed as a movable stool on low nylon glides, and weighing in at a mere 5 kg (11 Ib), Bertie can be pulled easily from place to place by its leather handle. Available in a wide range of fabrics it’s ideal for reception, retail, front of house and lounge areas and is new for 2019. Come in and take him for a walk!
Also presented at the showroom is the familiar classic, Boulevard – with a difference! Already a popular choice with workplace designers, the modular booth seating has now been further enhanced with improvements to the internal structure to create a more comfortable experience for users. Further options are now available for designers including new leg choices, height options of the back rest and the option to add arm ends for a more enclosed space. Come in and take a break from the madness of Clerkenwell Design Week and see what you think about the new seating!
