Modular comfort at Deloitte University EMEA

Deloitte University EMEA, located in Paris, redefines corporate learning spaces with a design-led approach that fosters collaboration, learning, and networking. Designed by London-based studio Sketch, the facility balances functionality with a warm, inviting aesthetic, channeling Scandinavian simplicity to create a space where professionals can engage and grow.

Sculpting space to nurture talent

Within the project, a carefully curated selection of furniture that enhances both usability and ambiance. BEEfluted, a modular seating system by Davison Highley, anchors the atrium, offering a sculptural yet welcoming form that encourages spontaneous interaction. The fluted upholstery detail introduces texture and depth, seamlessly blending into the spatial narrative. Meanwhile, the EL Work Modular seating, placed in the dining area, brings an adaptive element to communal spaces, allowing for both individual focus and group discussion in a relaxed setting.

Designing for sustainability

Sustainability was a critical element of the project, with Deloitte’s stringent environmental criteria shaping every material choice. Davison Highley underwent rigorous accreditation processes, ensuring all certifications met the standards set by the Deloitte Sustainability Board. Additionally, the specification of fabrics was closely managed to align with the project’s high environmental benchmarks, reinforcing a commitment to responsible design.

A legacy of collaboration

This latest collaboration at Deloitte University EMEA builds on Davison Highley’s longstanding work with Deloitte, with previous projects spanning locations including London, Cambridge, Guernsey, Manchester, Reykjavik, and Zurich. Each project reflects a shared dedication to creating workplaces that balance aesthetics, adaptability, and environmental responsibility.

Deloitte University EMEA sets a new precedent for corporate learning environments – where design meets functionality, and sustainability is woven into the fabric of every decision.
